Members kulardenu
I have taken to going to bed with my Yamaha 112, Jamvox & Laptop. Very sensual & relaxing I must say... My preference right now is playing with loaded backing tracks of Pink Floyd's Echos & Shine On. It is a little dangerous as it's a waterbed. Oddly the only thing missing is a canopy with an overhead mirror so I can work on some bitchin guitar face. Could this be called Aural Masturbation or a bad case of Dynamo Hum? Members brandass
I've accidentally slept with my guitar. In the morning we both claim to have been totally wasted. But the chemistry is undeniable. Anyway, if you get a ceiling mirror, or a sidetable with FastFret in the drawer, you've gone too far IMHO. Members Deadbeat Son
Even though I've never done it, I would say it's normal based on all of the threads around here discussing bedroom amps.

Members kulardenu
I think that JamVox would actually be a good bedroom amp. And my Yammie is one sweet Lil Blondie.
Members Snambo
Sadly, I usually play 's in bed un-plugged. I don't think of it as wrong though (as I dream of my electrics in the man cave) just maybe a bit unfaithful.

Members DarkHorseJ27
I've played guitars in bed before. But I only had one guitar out of the case at a time, so that way the guitar didn't know I was seeing other guitars. The other night I played a double neck in bed, that was freakin' wild. Members xStonr
You mean like in O~Can~ada... I was thinking more along these lines. If she's from Canada that's good too.
Members Belva
It's only wrong if you prefer playing your guitar when your wife wants to practice making babies.
Members GAS Man
Nah, it's great. Just think about it, it's a proper standing position/posture for playing guitar, only HORIZONTAL. Just one problem, elbow into mattress hinders full neck shred. Wife also bitches about windmill chord slams. I tell her "IT'S CLASSIC ROCK!!" Members headless
In all seriousness, I've played laying in bed often, until I started to get, "tennis elbow". It's probably just me (I injure easily---I'm a fragile snowflake), but something about the body-mechanics of not being about to move my arm naturally (as when sitting-up) caused me pain. So now, the guitar and I have separate beds (she snores, anyway).
