on a related note avatars are "the graphical representation of the user or the user's alter ego or character." so apparently most of the guys here have a 16yr old Japanese porn actress as an "alter ego"

I know this is too much information probably but what the hell, this is an anonymous forum. I've had a hard struggle with pornography and some of the avatars on HCEG and HCAF make me feel stuff inside me that I don't want to feel anymore because I want to be the best husband I can be to my wife and the best dad I can be to our kids.

I'll add too the discussion just by saying that I'll bet there's a small chance that the OP is really dealing with addiction, but an even bigger chance that he's a hardcore evangelical. If it's the former, then more power to you to overcome your addictions - do what you need to do. If it's the latter, I personally hope you get over it, but if not, we are free to follow whatever spirituality we choose. In that case, follow the best way you can.

Good luck with that, particularly if your decision is made based on some incident with your family that you need to resolve.

 

I can't say I entirely agree with a complete switch-off to pornographic material. I have a friend who in the last year has gone down this route (to the point of asking his partner to block channels on TV with a password he doesn't know and installing software that blocks sites on his PC) and I'm not sure how easy or effective he has found it tbh. It also means he's avoiding social situations if he thinks they might involve even a 'Carry-On' level of nudity. I think learning to have a bit more control over the self and finding other ways to release tension (or whatever) would be better than completely blocking something; you can't avoid exposure to anything that you feel you are addicted to/obsessed with forever.

I can understand an addiction to porn, I guess. But it's a little scary to think that people feel they must shield themselves from any content with a slight sexual theme. A person would literally have to close his eyes while driving to avoid billboards, would have to cover his eyes in the mall and would have to stop watching TV. Maybe a monastery might be the answer, if that's the lack of self control in question.

I'm a fairly consistent contributor to NGD pics... they aren't anywhere remotely approaching any kind of porn, though they aren't overly clad.

 

Sorry if I've helped lead you astray... or if I've offended any other members with them, but I ain't likely to stop, male or female.... born that way or they've crossed over. I don't discriminate, nobody I've ever met would describe me as a chauvinist type but, but I am pretty quick to contribute to NGD threads. The point I'm trying to make is that's impossible. There will always be women on this earth, walking down the street, looking like sluts and generally driving men wild. The OP cannot get away from that. My guess is his wife is trying to keep him from having any contact with anything even related to women. I've experienced this. I found out later she did it because she had a guilty conscience. OP, if your wife is doing this to you, she may have a boyfriend and thinks you're {censored}ing somebody else as well.

Keep a clear head and you'll be fine. Just think less about tits and more about guitars..... with their curvy solid bodies,

how you would finger her frets, the joys of strumming, how you'd make her squeel after plugging her in....
