NOICE Fullerton active bass guitar. The previous owner stated that the dual pickup is a genuine Music Man pickup. Plays nice, sounds great! Easy to play! Includes a soft gig bag that is in bad shape, but secure. I traded a guitar worth over $200 for this and was pleased at the trade. But now it is time to sell it as I don't play it much.

I've been pretty successful at this...BUT the days of $100 guitars in the hot deals thread is gone. You'll have to find great deals the old fashioned way. The best advice I can give anyone is this: Don't limit yourself to guitars. I flip EVERYTHING. Cars, stereos, chachky (sp?), silver, whatever. I wrote a book on this very idea. The bottom line is: Is it priced too low? Do you think it is worth more? Then it's likely someone else will, too. "You make your money when you buy." repeat daily.

I have the following Crate models: a Lee Jackson designed Crate Stealth combo. CLEAN cleans and a very high gain 2nd channel. All tube; 4 6V6s and 3 12AX7s. Think twice as powerful Princeton. Several Power Blocks, and 2 PB cabinets with ancient alnico speakers in them. I put the Celestions that came in the cabs in my PA rig. Crate V1512, modified with a better reverb tank and circuit changes. It's a well made (in USA), useful, pretty, all tube amp. I actually will miss this Made in USA company. Loud's buyout will tell in future models.

In general I would say they are undervalued. Then again, I don't think they are worth over 400. The ash ones are heavy. They all sound good. The SC ones punk'd the strats in their price range, "then". The neck is, uh, different. I'm pretty sure that's why I didn't buy one "then". They're pretty hard to hurt. If I could find an ash one at 2 bills or under that was real nice, I'd buy it. They are typical Peavey: unsung, highly capable products for working musicians.

It's a slightly embarassing story. I sold the tuners off of it, pretty cheap, hoping to help out a forumite who received one with a broken off tuner knob. That was common when we were all getting ours within a few weeks of each other. Dunno if that's who got them though. The only tuners I had that fit were vintage Kluson style in black. The black looks good but the tuner knobs are the small round ones, and don't look quite right. I have a set of Grovers but they will not fit without reaming and drilling, and I don't want to do that. I'll find something "correct" eventually. There's nothing wrong with the stock tuners. I'm just an idiot.

They're Alnico V pickups. Keep them in there long enough to learn to appreciate them. I changed the tuners cuz I think the green looks stupid. Other than that, a great guitar. And in your case, a great price! Looks great in the MF SG case for $39 too.

They cost thousands, but no where near 100 thousand. Like under 10 I think. NOT movable like you are thinking. Lead time measured in portions of years. I think it is like 1.5 years or more now. Worth every penny that the machine, or the work, costs.

Yah! I just have a thing about natural Teles. I hate them. Crazy, but true. If that was any other color (except red) I woulda kept it.

Just sold this to Promit, a Barrington Foxxe. Great pups, nice feeling neck.
