I'll bet that wood's going to look great when it's all finished.
:)
Neck looks pretty chunky - how's the profile on it?

hes putting the last of the oil on it this week. I didnt really specify a neck profile i just played one of the guitars he made and told him to make it like that. My old band mate is a luthier and is making this at cost for me.

Wait, seriously? Are you the guy I traded my Schecter to?

^You gotta throw a Jazzmaster bridge on it, Jimmy Page style.

Wasn't me, but true story. Look earlier in the thread. I think there's a pic of the original build.

And my Bigsby is custom modded... pretty slick. Check out my YouTube for more info.

I've posted this image too much as of late, but...

Other than a Fender neck and set of tuner, Nocaster bridge pickup, and that F-stamped Bigsby, it's all non-Fender MIK action going on.

These are awesome. Not to sound like the other Tele's in this thread aren't great, but I love it when I see someone with a few more unique ones. I love all of those.

where did ya get that pickguard at?

Pickguard is a Warmoth.

So is the body (Alder, finished it myself with water based white oak stain, and about 10 coats of tong oil)

Pickups are '69 patent# buckers.

Neck is a Strat, dated May 23 1972.
