  1. There is only one Foreigner song worth listening to, and only for the guitar parts: [video=youtube;5c1m2BAg2Sc] That's some fucking rock toan right there.
  2. I don't know - we kinda do custom color stuff like that on a whim. That will be the stock color for as long as we feel like it.
  3. Exactly - it's not a clean sub-octave, it's a fuzz - I don't know many fuzzes that sound good at 18v...
  4. Not everything sounds best at 18v you know...
  5. It doesn't run on anything higher than 9v by any chance does it? 9vDC only.
  6. ClinchFX EP-Pre Brand fookin' new - still has new pedal smell. $180 shipped/PayPal'd. http://www.clinchfx.com/ep-pre
  7. ah,so thats were comp works I don't play funk or country. If you liked recorded music you like compression. If you like tube amps you like compression. If you like dirt pedals in any form, you like compression. You may not like a huge amount of it, but you are most certainly using it to some degree playing an electric guitar.
  8. I've never been into compressors. I can't stand having my signal get altered at all. I want to hear the character of the guitar and my actual pick attack. Having a compressor just wouldn't work for me. I could definitely see how it could mess up your playing though. Just like using heaps of distortion could. You obviously haven't played or heard the right compressor then because none of my guitar's character or pick attack is altered or lost with the comp I use. I find it laughable that all of you guys who say you don't like compression use high gain dirt boxes. If you don't think you're using compression already, you need to pass the pipe.
  9. yeah, I can see how it's so misleading with that name. Real hard to tell what it does. Knowing what it does is one thing, knowing how to use it properly is another.
  10. Its not a crutch if you don't use it as one. I think it's just about the least understood effect out there.

  12. Your band must play pretty loud - a DRRI is plenty for most clubs...
