    I came in here hoping to see some sort of contraption that allows me to plug my pedals into it in order to unlock its secrets and get me invincibility and all weapons.

    ZVex did some cool stuff with the probe series and the sequenced pedals, but long before those he became famous for a 5 knob fuzz face and a boost circuit taken from an old mixing desk schematic.
