Members Taylor.
The guitar: not for me. The Mastotron: hecks yeah. Awesome pedal.
Members iodine74
Those things are super comfy, though I wish the body was a hair bigger (yes I know it wouldn't be a mustang then). I love the tonal variation, but the upper switches aren't the most convient to use if you wanted to make a change very very quickly. Still would though if the price was better. Members who235
I've come to a point in my life when I can comfortably admit that I'm way too big of a guy to play a Mustang in public. I would look like an idiot.
Members Zappa74
Tried a few of these Mustang Pawn Shops when I was shopping for a telecaster. I came close to buying one of the Mustangs. They're great.
Members TravvyBear
Those are actually a little bit smaller than a normal mustang body. They look awesome though. And Blues Jrs are sweet. Wish they had trem. though.
Members christianatl
Don't dig the Pawn Shop Mustang, but I love my Mustang ('66) and Musicmaster ('78). Love the Mastotron.

Phil O'Keefe
Has anyone compared the '65 Mustang RI and the Mustang Special? Specifically, I'm interested in how the necks compare. I believe the bodies of the Specials are a little shorter.

I believe the bodies of the Specials are a little shorter. IIRC, the special bodies are shorter, but their necks are a tad fatter, same scale length, not sure on exact sizes. Members SonicMayhem42
I have the Pawn Shop Mustang and Love it (Mastotron as well). Go with the guitar. The neck on it is very comfortable (one of the most comfortable I have played) and the size can actually be very comfortable expecially when sitting.
