  1. What are you asking? It's an Aria Pro ii XR, made in 87 in Japan by Matsumoku. It's blue with 2 singles and a humbucker. Should have a push/pull to turn the humbucker into a single coil.
  2. You found it IF you have the triple shot pickup ring, which you never said you had.
  3. As someone who has done "dada mods" (modding for modding sake) I would suggest something WAY simpler, before you go that route. A simple N/Hum/S switch, just to decide if you want that. There won't be a hell of a lot sonic differences but it will help you realize that. 1 Humbucker/1 Volume/North Coil-Humbucker-South Coil (guitarelectronics.com)
  4. I'm an Aria fan, so my vote is pretty obvious. The just reissued the PE-1500, and it's made in Japan! PE-1500RI – Aria Guitars (ariaguitarsglobal.com)
  5. What kind of bass? What kind of pickups? 4 string? 5 String? Are they extremely old? Did you try boiling the strings with a bit of dish soap to clean them?
  6. Looks pretty! Are you going to gloss the fretboard?
  7. Look at the 3rd post in this thread. yesh...
  8. One is a bass, the other, a guitar. And I am in LOVE with the guitar!
  9. I have done it many many many times in the past. It's a useful mod for giving a hum, single, and p90ish tone. The issue YOU may have, is that the pickups aren't 4 conductor. You will have to rewire the pickups. Not hard, just a PITA.
  10. Don't want flats, so..... That perfect compromise between flats and round. I LOVE these on certain guitars. They add a bit more bass and a bit less treble on a hollow and semi hollow.
  11. I have the SX Liquid with 2 P90's and that weird Jazzmaster styled trem thingy. Modded the electronics by replacing the 3 way, and adding a 4 way. And replaced the bridge since it was a rattle trap. Have a Douglas semi hollow tele, that blew away my MIM version. Replaced the 3 way with a 5 way Lawrence designed wiring. Also have a Agile 3010SE Paul with P90's. Just went with 50's wiring on it. I don't miss my Gibby's. Everything I have played with from Rondo has been wonderful and well worth the little they charge for quality.
  12. Welcome to a zombie thread about a POS amp that no one cares about. And welcome to Harmony Central in general.
  13. An active EMG won't really work due to 1) no grounding, 2)different value pots 3) different output jack. It's never been a recommended thing to mix active and passives. You can get a passive EMG Select that will drop in.
  14. The Premier is a line, which model do you have? Is it electric? Acoustic? Solid body? Hollow? Semi hollow? I have a fully hollow Excel model, the EXH-1SH that I got off of feebay as a broken neck husk for the STUPID price of $89. Arguably, one of the NICEST guitars action, feel, and tone wise I have ever touched! Yes it has mismatched parts, and an ok neck pickup, but it still is damn near perfect.
  15. He's dead, I don't care about him anymore. His Vegas store is dead, and that's a good thing.
  16. We all do stupid things while drunk or stoned. Eddie, no exception.
  17. I have the Stew-Mac A2's and LOVE them to death! Worth every penny if looking for that older Gibson tone. (Mine are in a Eastman El Rey 3)
  18. Nice guitar, I've always loved the Ibanez hollows. And for the bridge. a tiny drop of contact cement will keep the bridge in place during string changes, without any marring of the finish.
  19. Hey there. Magna series, made from the late 80's to about 96/98 range. No, not Japanese, Korean made. As to the set up specs, no info, since they never made that public. Best setup, is the one that you like. Best answer I can offer.
  20. Simple, in 87 Aria moved production to Korea.
  21. Which is why I charge extra for hollow and semi hollows!
  22. Umm, what are you asking for, since you already know what it is? 1988, Korean made.
  23. Not a problem, that's what Google is for.
