Members Gremson
Today, with the help of Mr. Waldo Pepper, we esquired my Squier Affinity Tele. I'm pretty pumped. Cut the picguard out of an old circuitboard, put brass saddles on the stock bridgeplate, GFS 50's pro pup, an esquire circuit design Mr. Pepper divised, and a giant volume knob off off an old broken stereo of mine. I had to move the jack to the front of the guitar because I've been having fun throwing the guitar around onstage. Hopefully in this spot I'll stop breaking the jack. What do you guys think? Members Gremson
Thanks guys!I never really set to "esquire" my tele, but I just never really gave a {censored} about the stock neck pickup. I can get more tones with this setup than I could with the two stock pickups.

Members V
Yeah, I got a sheet of copper and am going to laminate it to the top of a black tele pickguard for a similar look on my homemade tele. It should also provide nice shielding, I'd imagine.

Members Gremson
Yes, he does.I still haven't had the chance to try it on my rig at home, but at the shop through a DLS it sounded killer, and still definitely sounfs like a tele. Members murch33
If I ever pick up another Tele it'll get the Esquire treatment. The neck pickup in my current Tele is just too good.
