I put the jack on the front because I keep breaking it off the bottom where it originally was. I like throwing the guitar around onstage.

I'm not too sure if the knob will stay. It looks and feels really nice, but it's really easy to bump andchange it.

 

The switching goes from straight, hot pickup, to a rolled-off pseudo neck tone sound, to a half-power setting for a clean tone into a cranked amp. I run my Traynor cranked all the time and it works really well for that.

Yeah, I got a sheet of copper and am going to laminate it to the top of a black tele pickguard for a similar look on my homemade tele. It should also provide nice shielding, I'd imagine.



As long as you make sure it's grounded, yes, it should. :)

And as far as the OP's guitar - very nice indeed! :cool:
