I have a rare Yellow Dean V for trade. Awesome metal guitar, but really plays and sounds like a top end instrument. Wasn't cheap, doesn't play or sound cheap. Very nice guitar if you want an eye catcher and a fine guitar to boot.

Well, I picked this up in a trade a short while ago.

 

However, I don't really think its for me. Its a sweet guitar, and if it didn't have a double locking trem I certainly would be keeping it.

 

Its a 1993 or 94 USA made G&L Climax plus, HSH. It has TRS Pro bridge, which I've set up to float. From what I gather the pickups are G&L's take on the duncan distortion, wound by seymour duncan to G&L specs. They're hot, but theres a little bit of quack in the 2 and 4 positions. Its a neat sounding guitar.

 

Due to school kicking my ass I won't be able to take better pictures until saturday, so these are the preliminary shots I took the night I got it.

 

Hardcase will be included. I think its original.

 

The guitar has been played, but I think the frets have been recently dressed as they're in excellent shape. The upper bout is worn to the wood and there ARE chips. Not noticable from a distance, but if you're looking for something pristine look elsewhere.

 

The neck has some nice figuring and is slim and shreddy. Frets are jumbo. The body is ASH according the G&L website.

 

I'm looking for an SG special preferably, but I'm open to offers. I am NOT bothered by damage, other than headstock breaks.

I have to give props to used666 i got him to make 6 patch cables for 42 bucks out of evidence monorail wire and they are great. Thats alot cheaper than buying a george l's kit or planet waves kit. Hit him up for patch cables he does great work.
