OK- some of you will like this a lot.


Ibanez RG450- Korean from the 90s. EVERYONE who sees this thinks it is an 80s RG550 at first.


The story on this one is that I got it off ebay and even after I told the guy how he should ship it, he did a bad job of packaging and it took a bad hit. I have been just covering it with electrical tape and it is practically invisible from a few feet away.


Otherwise, it is in very good overall condition with the fine scratches you see with black guitars and some corrosion of the metal common with these. Wonderful neck on this. Also, it looks like someone replaced the tuners with black chrome instead of the black I am sure that came on this guitar.


This guitar plays like a $700 guitar, but I am going to let it go for only $225 shipped and Paypalled to the lower 48 because of the damage. I feel crazy for letting this go that cheap, but I want someone to get some good use out of it.

I am willing to entertain trade offers +/- cash at this point.

This guitar is such a good player outside of the ding, and I will just keep it if no one is interested, but it is just sitting unplayed right now since I am set for guitars with tremolos otherwise...

I will say I am pretty darn intrigued- will have to check the videos when I get home... definitely using fine materials with the Duncans and the stainless frets... Hmmm...

You might want to consider loaning a sample to someone respected on the board (me), like Frets99 (or me) or Will Chen (or me) or RockLobster (or me) or Tweedledee (or me) or maltomario (or me) or blackhathunter (or me)... really anyone who could do an in-depth review :)

This is a good one... pick of the litter... bone stock and played maybe an hour- stored in a non-smoking, temperature and humidity controlled environment... will even ship in an original Squier 51 box and throw in a new set of strings.

This is my tricked out dean and its in good condition. It's hot pink and has a painted fretboard to match. I have put custom graphics on it as well. It's loaded with a Seymour Duncan George Lynch Screamin' Demon in the bridge and a DiMarzio Air Norton in the neck. Both pickups are coil tapped via the volume and tone push/ pull pots. This guitar is a tonal monster and depending on how you adjust the pickups, coil taps and tone knob, you can get 16 different sounds out of this axe. The neck is solid and fretted well.

 

One really cool feature I added is the addition of glow in the dark inlay markers. It looks cool in normal light, but when it gets dark on stage, you really shine ;)

WTB: P90's

 

I need some pickups for a project guitar I'm working on. They should be black... and need to have brackets so that I can screw them onto the pickguard, but other than that, I'm not too picky. I'm thinking Gibson's or GFS or something like that. Thanks.
