  2. Here's the start of a new USA/ Jap pro mod mutt.
  3. ED is a great rhythem player, but not nearly the best. For that honor, I'd nominate Vai, Moore, Lynch, T-Mac, The guys from Maiden, Santana, Paul Gilbert, ect...
  4. I've had 8 pro mod Charvel's. 5 USA's (slime green SD1, White SD1, Black SD2, Purple SD2, Tangerine So Cal) and 2 Jap's (Dead Calm Aqua Wildcard SD1, Red So Cal). Honestly, the differences between the USA and Jap versions are so miniscule it's hard to notice. The Japanese models are superb guitars and I'd recommend them to anyone looking to get a superstrat. Here's my new Ferrari Red Jap So Cal I've been mucking about with. I recently ordered a Dimarzio Area 67' for the middle and a Injector for the neck. I guess next, I'll have to get a HSS pickguard.
  5. I flip guitars. You just have to know your market really well and focus on a particular style of guitar or manufacturer. Also, sometimes you may have to sit on a guitar for a while before it sells, but if you stick to your guns, it'll sell eventually. In my most recent sale, I had to sit on an axe for the better part of half a year. But generally, sales can be as fast as a week or two. My area of expertise is high end, 80's style super strats. Just know your market really, really, really well. Also, with higher end merch, there's more room for a profit, price and a little built in haggle room. -Just a tip
  6. I love that he makes fantastic music and has a great taste for gear and tone. I have nothing against him, but a luthier of his told me he "He's's the most talented and gifted guitarist I've ever heard but he is a mean and nasty person". I've never met Ed, so I won't judge. I also can't wait for the new album!
