Members dkerwood
I'm in a church band every week. Used to play in an originals band, but that fizzled. We still play a gig or two a year. I also play for hire quite a bit- usually bass and drums, but occasionally guitar as well. Most of my rig is in the sig.

Members jordanjordan
I think I tend to buy more gear when I'm not playing gigs. I like to take some time to get to know equipment really well and there isn't much time for that when I'm playing a lot.
Members ambient
I'm in an originals band, have been for sometime. My rig is1 of 3 guitars -> tonelab SE -> peavey classic 50/50 power amp -> custome made 2x12" w/vintage 30's. Being in a band, I've probably spent more on pro-sound stuff and cases than my actual rig. Shure SM-58Beyer-dynamic tgx-7Allen & heath 24 channel desk ATA case for said deskStands and a ton of cables.

Members HMCMedic
In one band for the past 3 years or so, we never play out, just record and drink. I used to play in a weekly gig in a bar, helped host a blues jam, played in a couple cover bands. Now I just have the one but am working on some stuff for a friend that does artsy/video stuff in California. I record all the tracks on my own and send it to her electronically and no, it's not porn:facepalm:
Members Blakemore Effects
I'm in the process of moving, so I'm not in a band right this second, but I've got a few offers pending once I get to Nasvhille, and I've got a few other leads I'm pursuing if any of the other bands don't work out for some reason. I think that most of what I've bought has been done during periods while I was in a band though. Gear is in the sig.

Members orangesix
Am i the only one who thinks that playing at church isn't being in a band? Am I also the only one who thinks that learning covers with some friends is technically a "band" but not really?

Members dantedayjob
Play in a band, have pretty steadily for the last couple years after a long hiatus... current band has gigged a couple times, have a gig scheduled next week. Rig includes; Traynor YCS100h and 4x12 cab, 6 pedals (2 gains, flange, chorus, delay, wah), several guitars (4 PRS, 1 is an SE, 2 Korean made Deans and a Gretsch). I have some PA gear and lights too, but both my bass player and my drummer have better PAs, so my stuff stays in storage.
