Members Oldskool Texas
Music and bicycles. That's it. The bike keeps my body fit, music my soul.
Members chadd
It used to be, but hockey has been my number one for more than a decade. With some extra income coming in from the website next month, I should be able to dedicate more time and a few more bucks to music again. Members Northstar
I have a sailboat I'm restoring. Besides that, I don't want to get involved in anything else because just these two activities suck all the time I have.
Members pixelchemist
music is one of three hobbies that I devote alot of time to. The other two are cycling and drawing/sketching/illustration. Though cycling was my life for many years and I would still love it to be a bigger part than it currently is I am a father of 1 (2 next month) and I work ALOT so my time to just go out and ride has dwindled down to nearly nothing (and I am getting fatter by the minute as a result). I do creative for a living so I tend to go to the music stuff more often than not... my visual creative side has been a bit burned out latley. I think its getting close to time for me to think about moving out the area I am in, deal with the lower pay scale in other parts of the country and take up a slower paced life outside of the NYC advertising nightmare. I'm very happy with lots of parts of my life for sure, great house, great wife, great kid(s), great job, etc etc. I'm very fortunate. But I'm killing myself slowly keeping up the pace I am going currently. Tonight is a perfect example... I'll be up until probably 4AM tonight working... it's Sunday night. I'll be in the office at 9AM... work until 9:30-10PM... come home eat dinner, play guitar for an hour or two to unwind, then work some more until probably 2 or 3AM... Long story short... music is keeping me sane.

Members Kuroyume
Listening to music is very important to me. I couldn't live without it. It was there when I was really young (Beatles like "Love me do") and has cradelled me since. My family wasn't musical (as in musicians) and I admit that I'm not ever going to be professional at it but I love being able to play (a musical instrument) guitar so much that even if it remains a hobby until death I will enjoy it. Members Muddslide
My family is my Number One Thing. After that, though, it's music. Playing it, listening to it, talking about it.It is, to my mind, the greatest discovery/invention of humankind. It is nothing less than the ritual exorcism of suffering an sorrow. Music has saved my life more than once.
Members Machine Gun
Yes. Ultimately. If I'm honest with myself. It's my love. It's been there for me when no one else has, and it will never let me down.

Members Jkater
My family comes first but then I do need time alone between myself and my many hobbies.Music is the BIGGEST hobby for me but I'm also passionate about playing chess (I'm a patzer), drawing, "wasting" time on this forum, bird watching, etc.
Members axegrinder
Family is first for me too. However, of the many things I can list as hobbies, playing the guitar is the one that I actually manage to spend time doing on a daily basis. Modding guitars, collecting guitars, photography, bicycling, golfing, and fly fishing all take a back burner...some of them for years. Members kanamvar32
Music is just one of several hobbies for me. If I wasn't playing guitar I would probably be doing something else so I wouldn't miss it too much.
Members Spike Li
Its a BIG part of my life now, but still not the biggest. Drawing had always been a huge part of my life- my thing but I gave it up after I started doing 3d work. I now am lucky enough to do 3d for work, so I spend most of my free time playing guitar So id say its the second biggest.
Members soundcreation
Yep....drums, and guitar. Surfing as well but I've been a bit land locked for a couple years so I've lost what little ability I had. Still though...nothing quite like dropping down the face of a wave...Nothing clears your mind quite like it.

Members EJD
no... wish it was! I spend a lot of my time illustrating. Holy crap, that is incredible, man! If the chick had a beret, she'd look exactly like a friend of mine As for me... well, yep, music is my biggest thing! I guess a lot of people on here only do it as a hobby/amateur thing, but I want to go all the way to the top, and be a famous rawkstar When I'm not on HC (and I'm only on here for a couple of hours every day), and I'm not eating a meal or anything, I'm practicing guitar and music in general. It's my life
Members jrockbridge
Family and work take up most of my time. My 5 year old son, happily, takes a lot of my time. As far as hobbies go, music (guitar) is number one.
