Members Aaron SS
As the title states. Ive noticed a few things lately that might suggest so. It seems there are smaller pedalboards (that maybe be because people just want smaller setups, i dont know), more trading and less buying, as well as an increase in DIY interest. So ya with that said is this the case with you guys or simply a fluke?
Members frankiej
I buy and sell due to my needs. If something looks interesting ill sell stuff to get that something. That being said i new some new tubes for my legacy as some of them got {censored}ed up by UPS
Members Gremson
Not me.My hourly pay is still the same. My bills haven't changed. And the price of gas is even going down.No problems here.
Members Drifter182
I wouldn't say so. I haven't bought anything in a while and am still planning to upgrade a bit. But I tend to want guitars or amps, and there arent many local deals up here that I have been able to score
Members kyrreca
I've been buying less stuff lately, but that has been due to other circumstances. The "financial crisis" doesn't affect me that much. The exchange rates have become worse for me, though. Buying gear from the US has become 20% more expensive during the last couple of months, but it's still a lot cheaper than buying from Norwegian stores. Members jlantsberger
It certainly is. I'm putting most of my extra cash toward paying off my credit card debt. Other than maybe one or two pedals, all my buying is on hold for the next six or seven months.

Members ReckedTrek
Being unsure of how a pedal sounds/works with my gear (since no one around here carries what I'm looking for) is more of an issue than the economy, but I'd say the economy is maybe 10-20% related to how much/little I'm willing to spend right now. Members Belt
I don't think that it's affected me too much. My desire for stuff changes, and I think that's what persuades my GAS. Not so much the economy. But with large purchases, I think I mainly wait for my wife to green light it.
Members onyxrhino
yeah, I notice people selling more pedals for cheaper and good deals are hard for me to pass up. So I'd say the economy is feeding my pedal habit.
Members mewithoutlouie
the economy hasn't effected me much. i actually just got a new job and i'm buying a little bit more than usual. trying to balance it out with selling some pedals, but i'm set on a lot of my pedals, besides delay. Members english_bob
Being unemployed is affecting my buying, not the economy. The economy isn't what made me unemployed either, so all in all the economy has pretty much nothing to do with anything as far as I can tell... Members Ming Chow
The pharmacy I work at seems to be doing ok. Got a small raise earlier this year. We also hired two more pharmacists, so that makes 10 of us, a few techs and one very hot intern. As far as buying stuff. Pedals are getting kind of boring to me. I want to indulge into some amps.
