I loved playing my ex girlfriends one a bunch though and ran it into all kinds of SS-farty-bass-adventure-conundrums. I played bass before guitar, started with the "Contra" bass or Double bass, basically the huge full sized classical upright bass. I still have a cheapo plywood bass somewhere, but it's {censored}.
