Phil O'Keefe
#1. I couldn't handle 2. What if you got a penny, or breadcrumbs in the hole? I somehow managed to drop a pick into mine more than once. It "shakes out" in the same way you get them out of an acoustic. It's not that hard to do. Members Reaganomics!
tough one. I'd be inclined to say #1 most of the time, but if I could see #2 with a black or tort pickguard instead of the goofy perloid I might change my mind. Members Stevenglass
Honestly, i think you'll like either subs.I'm more partial to thinlines because i think they just have a really unique sound to them. The deluxes i've played are very "ok". The sound is kinda weird without that semi hollowbody.
Members p0lymath
SHOULD I BUY A SEMI-HOLLOW GUITAR?Are you going to use it for jazz?? ? No Yes ? ? No.No. Buy a fully hollow.

Members p0lymath
All I'm saying is if you're about to buy a Thinline, then you might as well buy an army jacket and a cabby hat to accessorize with it.

Members p0lymath
Why yes I am. Seriously though, Thinlines are cool, never jived with me in particular, and Deluxes are hit or miss. I've had completely different results from different copies of the same model, some horrible, some amazing, but at that price you can't lose on a deluxe (flip would be easy if it was a {censored} one). Comparatively for the price in this situation and my past experience, I'd hit the Deluxe first but I'd only want to make a definite decision after shreddin' both. Members evets618
I keep dropping my pick in my f-holes. Then you shake the thing over your head until the rattling stops and now the pick is lost on the floor somewhere. For some reason the crowd loves this.
