Speaking of pedalboards, I saw a band last night where the guitarist had rc-3 -> tu-2 ->pog2->carbon copy on a piece of old carpet. he then rolled it up and stuffed in his bag when he was done.

Nothing fancy sound-wise, but, I am a professional musician (singer/guitarist) and I need a board that is small, dependable, and flexible on stage - fussing with loose connections, pedals that won't click on, or regularly bending over to tweak settings does not work for my show. Since I am stuck to the mic, this board with the Nose volume knob in the middle allows me to adjust my volumes without bending over and/or looking down. Same with clicking on/off the overdrive & distortion (left and right of the volume knob). These Hardware pedals may not be everyone's first choice sound-wise, but, they they are good quality and extremely reliable with their switching. And, they are true bypass - I run these stereo into 2 Fender Hotrod Deville 4x10's set on the clean channel (2 x 60 tube watts). We play big shows regularly so the 2 amps has me covered for loud stages plus I have 2 in case 1 goes down. Connecting these pedals are the George L's with gold plated plugs. After 25 of professional playing, I can attest that gold plating will maintain good connections - nickel and stainless steel usually will not. These George L's are amazing... they are small and assemble easily. And, they are dead quite as far as I can tell. I'm powering this Pedaltrain board with the new 1250 pedal train power supply. I'm also happy with that as well. I have had my Fender amps for about 14 years now, but, pedal wise I've been looking for something that is easy to use live and allows me to deal with variable stage volume conditions. I am really liking this setup and think this one will be a keeper for a long time.

Since I'm not playing guitar in my band I've removed my dirt and tuner and added the Holy Grail and Small Stone. I might put a Micro Pog on there if I can nab one on ebay but they're still not cheap, even second hand.

 

That's your microKorg board? very nice! Love running mine through my delay/reverb/fuzz etc. No fuzz for you?

'77 Deluxe Reverb with Weber ceramic Blue Dog, '93 MIJ Jag with Curt Novak pu's. Pedals are Wiggler (used on Hammond vibe 99% of the time), Monsterpiece NPN fuzzface, Hotcake, Tube Zipper, MP Mighty Red, Retrosonic Analog Delay, tuner.

 

I want to get a SMMH and a chorus soon. Might have to get one of those mini polytunes to make space somehow for those additions or else cave in a get a pedaltrain.

 

Originally bought the Mighty Red at a steal with the intentions of flipping it but I might actually keep it, it's pretty damned sweet for gobs of distortion which is useful sometimes.

That's your microKorg board? very nice! Love running mine through my delay/reverb/fuzz etc. No fuzz for you?

I'm going to try it out. I just got the korg, before this I was using a stage piano that didn't sound great at the best of times but it really didn't get on with fuzz.

That's a cool board man. You're using that for keys?

 

I would suggest an istomp if you don't want to put down the cash for a micro pog. The octaves in it sound great but don't track very well.

^^^I was told to put it before the Musket to give it more punch. I only use the two together when I am doing Gilmour type stuff. Other wise, mostly use the Fulltone with the BBE to push the amp more. The DS-1 is the spot where I get to change out different OD/Distortion depending what I am playing that week. Should it go after the Musket?
