Hey peeps! been busy and haven't been on the forums much. Wanted to share some NGD news. here's one of my bucket list guitars which I never expected to own. a 1991 Yamaha Pacifica model 1412. This showed up on my radar recently and I couldn't resist. yamaha didn't make very many of these at all. It has a lot of very unique features. It's got hollow tone chambers in the body to give it a certain resonant feedback. multi-piece laminated neck and body. height adjustable nut. the yamaha RM-PROII trem can accept strings without cutting ball end off, and has built-in intonation adjustment screws- very cool! The inlays are very awesome looking and compliment the guitar very well.

it plays and sounds delicious. its stunning to hold, the wide flat neck makes playing effortless. unlike most 24 fret guitars this one has a really nice sound out of its neck position. just finished giving it some cleaning and a full setup. here's a few pics.

and a little video of me playing it.
