Members Jim_Soloway
This was done as a custom order for an existing client. Now that we're building a 25.5" scale length, he wanted our take on a Strat. It's by far the happiest I've ever been with a Strat configuration on one of our guitars. I don't usually get excited when we do an S-type but there's nothing I don;t like about this guitar. EDIT (04/24/10): Here's a clip running through all five pickup positions in sequence starting at the neck and ending at the bridge. http://www.jimsoloway.com/CompletedGuitars/J276RedBlack/J276-1.mp3

Members Jkater
If the word "WOW" was 100 times harder to type, I would still make the effort for that one. Just beautiful in every possible way. Jim, you and your team are amazing.

Members DaleH
That looks great. If it were mine the only thing I would change is to get a trem arm with no tip.
Members Sharkfin
Wow, the grain on the back of that guitar with the red and black color scheme is good enough to take center stage as the front.

Members Jim_Soloway
I added a clip to the original post this morning. It runs through all five pickup positions in sequence starting at the neck and ending at the bridge. (There's a bit of noise i position 2 so I'll probably redo it before we deliver the guitar but at least this give you an idea of what it sounds like in my squeaky clean hands). http://www.jimsoloway.com/CompletedGuitars/J276RedBlack/J276-1.mp3 And Strtdv, yes, I occasionally want to keep one or two. Unfortunately I have a wife who reminds me that we are in the guitar selling business, not the guitar keeping business.

Members Jim_Soloway
Did you make those pickups too, or are they Duncan's or something? They're DiMarzio hum canceling single coils (Area '58 in the neck & middle, Area '61 bridge)
