Members m90guy
I would probably play something from the Kinks, but its impossible to argue with this...

Members voodoochile123
... "what is Rock music?", and you only had time to play them one song, which one would you choose? Probably Black Dog by Led Zeppelin. To me "Rock" is different to "Rock 'n Roll" so I wouldn't play them Johnny B Goode or any ACDC because that's all pretty much Rock N Roll in my book. Members rog951
Probably "Heartbreaker" by Zeppelin.
Members Muddslide
I'd be hard pressed not to play them something early from Chuck Berry or Bo Diddley, or possibly Jerry Lee Lewis or Little Richard. But for the life of me the single song that keeps coming to mind in response to this question is "Drop Out Boogie" by Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band. Members Muddslide
Lets be truthful. There never would have been rock & roll if it were not for this... You could not be more right. Well, he cut "Maybelline" first, but yeah, I think we can say with assurance that were it not for Chuck Berry, there would BE no AC/DC, Free, Led Zep, etc. And that's not to slight those bands--I dig 'em all. Just being for rizzle.
