Members SrMeowMeow
. He winds some good stuff at great prices. IMHO, Ken's pickups are nicer than anything I've tried from GFS. Stolen from Slick Deals: Best Washburn Deal Yet: Washburn WV66 Set Neck Flying V Electric Guitar with EMG 81 Active Pickup for $299I posted these earlier for $400, but it looks like they dropped the price another $100. As long as you don't mind a flying V, this is the hottest deal yet. Also, if you bought one earlier from them, you should try getting a price adjustment. They are usually pretty good about that. Should be a great guitar, only thing I am not sure about is the kill switch,It says. The kill switch" is mounted in the usual upper-bout selector switch positionA dedicated one would be nicer but it might be ok. Members Cobalt Blue
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/TeleSVMSSHOWT/ From my experience, which may or may not be typical, I would advice against buying this guitar. I paid 249.00, and I was never happier to send a guitar back. Right out of the box , it hummed incessantly in all but the neck only position; and from what I've read since then, wiring problems are typical for these. Also, I'm sorry that I cannot remember the forumite who posted this, but he said that his store avoids these VM models like the plague. Of course, YMMV. Guitars built in different factories and/or on different days could vary widely in quality.

See the discussion HERE. I am surprised that it doesn't have the new cheap-a** PCB control assembly. Should be easy to install a proper 2+2 control configuration, if you wanted to. I like the one-piece wraparound stop bar tailpiece, but I would want to pick one out at the store that intonates well. No online ordering for me on this one. Baked maple fingerboard if that matters to you. It's basically a nicer version of the SG faded with some twists. It might even make me break my rule and actually go into Guitar Denter to see if they have a nice one and will take the 15% coupon additional discount. They really seem to go the extra mile to aid a customer in making an informed purchase. Too bad there aren't more dealers like them.
