So what's the skinny on the mex strat? What is your son gonna do with it? I love venison (any)sausage. There was a place outside of Huntsville, Texas where I was raised called Tallents. Recently he has started picking it up again but those noisy pickups are crazy. Probably put some Sensors in it one of these days to quiet it down. Man, run any kind of overdrive with it and it's unbearable. I've read that those mim pickups are pretty bad about the buzz. Maybe some Alumitones. That would be awesome. I used to keep one guitar for everything and I kinda want to find the one, and up until lately have never realy had a Strat. I have seen some HSS with nice trems that look perfect.
