For all I know, the first song I heard on the radio was Brooks & Dunn, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Clint Black, Tracey Lawrence, John Michael Montgomery, Keith Whitley, Diamond Rio, etc. Pick an early nineties/late eighties country singer, and it's likely that I heard them.
