Members gambit
the straight-edged volume/tone control plate just ruins the curves of the Jazz body... it's confusing.. like looking at someone who know was attractive but has had a little too much surgery done

Members Drifter182
I used to like these guitars, but I realized that part of the reason the Jazzmaster looks cool to me is the space utilized by the Tremelo. I think thats why rhcp's is one of the few jazzmasters i could get along with.
Members gambit
www.jeffsennguitars.comthe "jazzbastard" that looks nice and all.. but the whole point of the Jazz/Jag is the lower corner being the opposite of the upper horn.. the scratchplate/controls should mirror the upper horn shape.to stop the scratchplate dead with a sharp straight going across the body line is just wrong. Members kidgloves
for me it's the pickguard that {censored}s them up I sorta agree here. And I hate the sterility of the relics. I was at Zoo Music yesterday and I saw an authentic 72 Tele Deluxe that had clearly been roughed up in the duty of battle. That was too beautiful. These just seem contrived. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of reliced fretboards. But the idea behind the design itself is really enticing.

Members Poltergeist
now this i would have use for...... i mean, i love the look and probably would love the feel of one, but soundwise, i'd still need an humbucker or P90 in the neck. Still trying to figure out the electronics firstly NO pickguard or ifyou must... small pickguard! kinda like this! in black single ply or anodized that'd look awesome on sonic blue! harmonic design Z-90 in the neck, slightly overwound tele pup in the bridge and a 4-way switch

Phil O'Keefe
I like the look, but if I was going to have one built, I'd want a Jazzmaster or P90 in the neck position... and a 24" scale neck, with the Tele headstock shape. No trem.
