  1. Some TGPers seem to like theirs. It looks like my local shop has 2 of them, I might go there & see for myself.
  2. They're not much (for a Gibson)....like $1500ish. I played one recently....it felt and sounded like shit Bummer. I guess you get what you pay for.
  3. Terry Date(Pantera, Prong, Deftones, White Zombie) produced all of those killer SOundgarden tones on BM, Superunkown, DOTU, etc.. He is legendary for layering LOTS of amps. I wouldn't put it past him to throw a bass amp in the mix with a Big Muff, some valvestate, some RG100, the Peavey VTM, etc. Soundgarden, to me, sounds like low tunings, amp distortion, and Boss Chorus (CE-2). I would start with the Peavey VTM. Here are some people saying it was a Dual Recto for Superunknown and everything after that. http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?1509890-Soundgarden-gear-on-Superunknown Terry Date didn't produce Superunknown & DOTU.
  4. I'm searching real hard for a butterscotch JTK 1. They were never made in that color here in the EU but they just looks tits! Are you sure about that ? I'd swear I saw them at Thomann & Musik Produktiv back then. I had a little GAS for them.
  5. Bumping this timeless thread. I've just read this @ TGP "They're really cool guys and even modified my super fuzzes to include a built clean boost." got me thinking of this thread.
  6. WARNING THIS THREAD IS OLD but it's an interesting topic... My hardest was the Roger Mayer Rocket Octavia.
