It used to have 3 pickups but, the middle one kept getting in the way so I took it out. It was a noisy bastard when I got it so I shielded the crap out of it and now it rocks. The OD channel is okay - a bit thin - but the clean channel is where it's at....great pedal amp. It's darker than a Fender. I like the simple EQ and it works really great with od/distortions. Just starts to break up at about 7 with humbuckers. I had a VT-22 prior to this and much prefer the lower wattage and much warmer sound of ther RR. That my friend is an old peavy valverb, all tube spring reverb and tremelo. Best reverb Ive found next to a 6G15 and its just a single rack space.
