I'm not on Facebook...

There are certain aspects of it I don't like (the usual arguments against it) but I admit I have given brief consideration to signing up for it on a couple of occasions...

But then I remember that I don't have any friends. :(

How about yourself: are you on Facebook?

I really do not care if facebook knows that I went to a house party on friday and has a dumb photo of me...

...but the people with photos of themselves blazing up or stealing roadsigns or stuff? that's pretty {censored}ing stupid

i only use it as a social diary
for finding out when bands i like are playing and am only friends with people who i actually know.

recently though i've hardly been on it, once a week or so to see what gigs are happening.

Pretty much this, but i also use the chat feature quite alot because it's cheaper than calling people up.

I use facebook, but i'm 20 and it seems like my generation are all over it.

I mainly use it to keep in touch with friends i've met abroad, because calling can get expensive, and i don't really like the 'formality' of e-mailing when i can just drop a 'hey how are ya' on facebook.

Neither me nor my fiance have personal Facebook pages. I have one for my band though.

We figure if there's anyone who we WANT to get in touch with us, contact us, update us about their life, they have our phone number/email so they can do it that way.

Facebook to us is a backwards ass way of "meeting" people...

So you're "connected" to your thousands of "friends", while sitting by yourself behind a computer?

We'd rather be out actually hanging out with people.

Yeah but nobody actually uses it in lieu of socialising

I would say more people use it for organising actual contact than use it as an alternative
