I suppose you could just use an external controller but it just seems... Incompatible with the price bracket for me. When you factor in a controller you open up the door to a lot of competition for that money.

They're really cool and I'd love one, but the keybed looks horrible.

WRC and BTCC in the 1990s > WRC and BTCC now. The WRC is a joke now. I'll be honest, haven't watched it in years. I remember seeing BTCC get bad because my dad my brother and I used to go every year to Oulton Park in the Rydell/Volvo and Matt Neal glory days... Alas a quick wiki tells me that was 12 years ago, so what the {censored} do i know WRC was good only a few years ago though, I'm not really surprised that it's not what it was; there's no money for these guys anymore.

Thanks, Bobby D! I actually have yet to see anyone down here who uses a Klon. On the other hand, almost every board I look at has a Timmy on it. I'm not sure if the Timmys are replacing the Klons since Paul C. lives so close, or if it's just a new era of guitar players, or if it's a price issue, but the Klon is far outnumbered by the Timmy these days. Both great pedals though, and both builders are really cool guys. It's because Paul C helps out the DIYers and they control everything

Schemwise, a Klon has some pretty cool things going on, it's not THAT close to a tubesceamer. The BJF honey bee has some cool negative feedback stuff going on but again, nothing AMAZING.
