These kinda things happen sometimes and you need to have a little bit of patience in dealing with the situation. No place is 100% perfect. Just get your money back. Call the credit card company if you have to. Good luck man. For what it's worth, I like Sweetwater best. They've NEVER {censored}ed up an order. Members Dolf Posted February 3, 2010 Members Share Posted February 3, 2010 sweetwater is horrible they won't stop hounding youwith great customer service:thu:. seriously i ordered power supply that is all. no shipping charge, plus the dude left me like 5 emails, 5 voicemails, asking if there were any issues, then before it was shipped he left a message to make sure i was getting what i needed, awesome amazing customer service especially for what i ordered. definitely gonna order from them next time around. The first order i had to return because the (new) 7 string fanned fret ibanez had dings in it. So i sent it back and ordered a schector instead. I went on to pay that plan off. Then. Started with my 2cd 12 month agreement a year later. On this order i should of done my reserch a lil better. I got a PRS accoustic. Its the only one they sell. I would have to say it was the most generic guitar i have ever paid $700.00 for. The case it came with was better quality than the accoustic was. So i returned it and went on to pay off the remaining items on the plan. So recently i found a 7 string schector i have been drooling over for 6 months. I go to place the order and they denie me. When I told them I was sending it back, they said I had to pay for the return shipping. Are they nuts???? I got into a big argument with them, but they held their ground. Needless to say, I never used them again. I've mostly bought from Sweetwater since then. They are absolutely top notch in customer service, and have their own extended warranty. Members AJ6stringsting Posted July 19, 2019 Members Share Posted July 19, 2019 Sweet Water is the best.Another great online retail company was Daddy's Use Junky Music Store, Hersh Gardener was one hell of great guy to deal with.Before the internet, Daddy's had catelog, I called, luckily Mr. Gardener answered, I wanted to buy an acoustic electric Ovation 12 string, sadly it was sold, he found me a great Fender 12 string with case, that was amazing, for only $ 200.00Sometimes, he would give me a discount on rack gear.Sadly, they went out of business. I was going to work there ( Musicians Friend ) at the Medford , Oregon store, but I moved back to California. The Head Hancho hired me scheduled me to work the following week. Back in 1992, Musicians Friend had a happy place to work in, people were glad to clock in with smiles on their faces.
