Mixing desk is good but not quite what we need, so swapping for a Mackie DFX-6: Smaller/more portable XLR outs instead of 1/4" Built in reverb Built in EQ Still has sliders Speakers sit at half volume and desk sits at unity. We can hear each other fine.
