Members rasputin1963
What makes you feel rich? Money, possessions, cars, studio toyz, women, clothes, good dental coverage, what? ....and I'm not necessarily being hypocritical here, or softheaded like some Hallmark card... if a Jag in your garage does it for you, or a home in Malibu, then list it. Me? I feel rich when I have a refrigerator full of Coca-Colas, all the fresh Mach-III razor blades I could ever want, at least two cans of my favorite shaving gel, a few bottles of some expensive colognes, and a full tank of gas. Broadband internet does it for me, too. My A/C set to 64deg at night. Really, those things, and I feel like a king. Or, to put it another way: Which things--- when they are ABSENT--- start making you feel slightly poverty-stricken? You?
Members Mark L
You're just a big tart really, aren't you? Me? Some Lidl cider in the fridge, a nice walk when I feel like it, a good book, and my songwriting ability (sadly on hold at the moment, but I'm sure my muse will return) That's about it really. I don't do much else

Members Sonic Jedi
Have you ever been to a Churrascaria restaurant? It's a Brazilian type all-you-can-eat restaurant where guys keep bringing you out various types of meat on these sword/spear/skewer things. THAT makes me feel rich. Going to a place like that makes me feel a little like a King, and perhaps a little like the fat guy from Monty Python's "Meaning of Life"
Moderators Lee Knight Posted June 4, 2008 Moderators Share Posted June 4, 2008 A newish car, the bills paid on time, a little savings, a stocked 'fridge, a full tank of gas. Wi-Fi and a laptop. San Pelligrino in a glass. These are a few of my favorite things.

Members Jeff da Weasel
I am rich. I live in the most affluent country in the world (for the moment anyway). I'm not oppressed and have good health care. I have a happy and smart kid. I get to do luxuries like playing my guitar and talking to people on the Internet. I have no complaints... none. Members Ryst
For me, it's having a music collection that has every single song i know and love and be able to listen to anything I want at the snap of a finger. That, for me, is the ultimate wealth. Right now I have about a terabyte of music......still not satisfied yet

Members meccajay
What makes you feel rich? Rich? Hmmm... Lots of things make me feel good, a few things make me feel great, but what makes me feel rich... Going shopping with $1,000 or more in cash, in your pocket! ...with all of it designated soley for the purpose of....shopping and only shopping!! Bills paid, car note and insurance out of the way and not a single debt on your mind...then shop! I know it sounds feminine, but it feels so incredibly manly and good!!! I could be going to Sams club for all I care.. Or buying clothes and expensive shoes, or music equipment and cognac...just shopping, going from place to place, store to store with lots and lots of cash! Then at the end of the day you stop at a nice restaurant and eat an incredibly good and expensive meal. Then go home. That's a good day. That's a rare day. That's a day that makes me feel like a rich S.O.B.
Members UstadKhanAli
Compared to most of the people in the world, my teacher's salary makes me filthy stinkin' rich. I already feel rich because I pretty much have everything I want and I'm comfortable. The moments in which I feel seriously rich are sometimes when I am traveling and I realize how much more money I have than most people there. Yeah, I wish I had a house that was larger than 920 square feet. But that's just whining. I've got it made.
