Quite a few of my friends were in GP over the years -- it made a difference for a few (the ones that had already more or less 'made it' but, for the most part, it was just a momentary thrill. I got a little writeup in Guitar One years and years ago -- my wife bought the magazine at Walmart, read the piece, and asked "Now what?" LMAO. I said "Nothing, more of the same."
