  1. El Degas were made in Japan during the 70s. Other than that....they seem to have a resale value around $500-600.

That's like asking what I plan on doing with all my guitars when I get old, or what I plan on doing with my penis when I get old and wrinkly.
  3. I have a few tats myself, two are from Frank Frazetta's Death Dealer series, they were a little expensive. I reckon I've spent around $1500 on tats all together, and wanting to spend a little more. Prices vary around here, depends on what you want, flash art or custom, and then from shop to shop. The only thing I would tell your son is to never get a name tattooed on him, at least in a dark color. Remember: Tattoos are forever, Love is not.
  4. Sometimes I anchor my palm on the top of the Floyd at the saddle, sometimes I anchor my pinky on the very side of my pickup. Just depends on what I'm playing
  5. Sounds like you've got the wrong pots man. I'd definitely try getting the correct pots. (And an extra battery clip for 18v )
  6. A Warp 7 50 watt amp that is tits! Also, an Epi LP 100 (Korean--pretty sweet!). A Rocktron talk box, a Dime wah, an old acoustic nylon beater, and a Crate 4 x 12 cab that I donated 4 Eminence Legends for. Cables, on/off switches, etc. Some decent goodies, for sure. I think, after 2 years, it's yours. Now you can try some Peter Frampton {censored}! Oh and no, I"ve never stolen a guitar, or any gear. I've had gear stolen, and it sucks! I can totally relate to Dave's post.
  7. My daughter would adore it.. Hope MF stocks em by her b-day.. Same here, only I'd Have to buy two, one for my son, and one for my little girl.
  8. Troll thread is trolling... Good point, though I still feel compelled to add my 2cents worth: Overrated: Malmsteem- Too much egotism in his music. Everything the man plays is just another way for him to jerk himself off, sorry, that's the truth of it. His stuff should come shrinkwrapped in a Trojan wrapper. Underrated: Mike Derks- This dude can seriously play!
  9. Just curious It fullfills me, it doesnt ask anything from me other than to enjoy it. Some folks Fish, hunt, race, rock climb, Trail ride, Do Triathlons..... All of which I do regularly but music....... Its like sex for me.. Rock on Pretty much man. When I'm not playing, I'm listening, or thinking of new licks.
  10. I voted 'take up drums'. I'm not a big fan of either of the three.
  11. I :rawk:ed just last night! Getting a new band together, first jam session, though the bass player cancelled
  12. I've always hated when people do the snob thing and say EVH is an "okay" guitarist. What a load of {censored}e (UK spelling). He was/is a fantastic musician. Great tone, great phrasing, FANTASTIC rhythm playing. Head and shoulders above all his peers. Sure, the Steve Vai's came out and had more technical chops, but I can still hum EVH's solos all these decades after the fact. Vai....not so much. I play nothing like EVH, but I hear him and get goosebumps. What fantastic feel AND an incredible boost to the guitar community. In my opinion, the greatest guitar player since Hendrix. . Pretty much this. He's not one of my influences, and I never was really BIG into VH, but I have a load of respect for the man as a guitarist. The only thing I really hated was Hagar! Listening to Hagar makes me want to jam ice picks in my ears :arg:
  13. Sounds cool...good luck auditioning the new group. Thanks man!!
  14. HaHaHa! Since pledging I have Rocked out!!! in my basement But I'm hoping to have something band wise going here soon, have a few dudes and a drummer I'm supposed to jam with this week!
  15. Since pledging my support I have rocked out with a goat, on a boat, and in a moat. Am I in the MBM? Just checking...I will go and rock out some more. You sure you didn't wander in the acoustic forum? :poke:
  16. Twisty571- Thanks for the Little Big Muff!! Absolutely Amazing!
  17. ' alt='>'> I like the idea of having a smaller stack for jamming upstairs myself.
  18. I don't have any pics, but I bother the neighbor's frequently with my 6505 blasting at 3 in the am! Had one woman out in her nightgown staring at the house. I just looked at her, and kept on rocking!
