Members mrbrown49
I don't put much value in lists like this. It's more of a popularity contest than a competition based in skill or musicality.

Members walrus1
I don't put much value in lists like this.Pete Townshend - 50, Angus Young - 96 (below Joan Jett ) - it's pretty clear whoever made that list doesn't have the slightest clue. Wes Montgomery and Charlie Christian aren't on the list, either, nor should they be. The list does have plenty of problems by any standard, though. Members Muddslide
Well, I'm happy that Link Wray, Dick Dale, Cliff Gallup and Eddie Cochran made it. Eddie Hazel and Fripp too. But Cobain at #12 and Jack White at #17 are pretty silly. I like some Nirvana and White Stripes, but let's be realistic. Cool players, decent songwriters, but I wouldn't put them on this list, or at least that high up. Meh, these kinds of lists are pointless/useless. They can never please everyone. Cool players, decent songwriters, but I wouldn't put them on this list, or at least that high up.They should be nowhere NEAR this list. To me, putting those two mediocre players on the list is pretty much disrespectful to those who actually dedicate their lives to the instrument. :mad:I wonder what Django would think? Members fu2jobu
I am a big fan of Cobain and Ramone but they don't belong anywhere near this list (as well as some others who made it further down). Whoever made this list has serious problems....

Members clay sails
I agree with many of the names on this list, but not necessarily the order in which they appear. For example, Gilmour ought to be #1, and in terms of sheer skill, Trey Anastasio can make better music with his ass than most of the players ahead of him can make with guitar.
