    EVH hasnt done anything interesting (to me) since the "Respect the Wind" instrumental on the Twister Soundtrack. There is some amazing transtrem work on that tune. His solo on the Roger Waters song of that movie soundtrack was also nice. Basically I think he would be better off leaving the "Van Halen" entity behind and doing his own thing.
