Members ballhawk
Always tough to lose a good friend. I hope you can find comfort in the thought that you both were blessed to have each other.

Lamb Chop was a good dog and I will miss her too.
Members Fusion1
Woody do you still have the standard pic of Lamb Chop with the blue hexagon chew toy? Seemed like that was her favorite toy.
Members Woody_in_MN
Fusion- I remember you had a white shepard. I'll post a couple more pics when I get a little time. Maybe later tonight.
Members Meowy
Sorry to hear. Pets can be very special I keep hearing "Good bye to Lamb Chop" to the tune of Good Bye to Romance. Someone should record it as a tribute

Members Danhedonia
I'm so terribly sorry. The middle cat in my avatar, Balthazar, is no longer with us as of January, and I still go out back and visit his grave every now and again. You can take consolation that pets are NO BULL{censored} PEOPLE and know just how much you care(d) for them. The pain of loss is yours; she passed on knowing that she was deeply loved. How {censored}ing awesome of you to do that for her.

Members cratz2
Sorry to hear it... I know it's tough but it's the same experiences that make the loss so difficult are what makes the eventual loss worth suffering.
Members Woody_in_MN
Two of my last shots of the Chopper. In these our husky (who has some kidney troubles we need to treat) is keeping her company. Shots were taken just yesterday. They are both resting. At a time we had hope yesterday. Members Bad Robot
It's always tough. We lost a cat this year, and he was a very friendly, laid-back, gentle guy, and we watched him go downhill for 6 months before we had to help him to end it. I'd never been that attached to an animal before, and it was heart-rending. I feel for you and your family.
Members Woody_in_MN
Thanks all. I had dogs around as a kid, but this is the first dog I had to put down. We put my cat "Killer" down a few years ago, and I cried like a baby driving home from the vet's.
