Members gardo
I love my vintage Ampeg. Can't say how the re-issue compare. We all have our own idea of perfect tone.
Members 67mike
My brother in law just bought a Mesa Boogie 5:25 express plus. Very nice little amp that is quite portable. Not a Mark V, but still a nice little amp.

Members DRPool
I still love my Jet City combo. With a recent tube upgrade to JJ's (with a 5751 in V1), it sounds REALLY nice. This is not the amp for pristine cleans but for blues/classic rock stuff it's perfect. And it LOVES dirt pedals. Best $299 I've ever spent on a piece of gear. $299? Wow...when and where? Members caveman
Crate VC30 for cleans but the Blues Deluxe is my favorite.
Members SpiritOfTheAge
This. Goes from sublime cleans to crushing destruction.

Members honeyiscool
Both my Orange Tiny Terror 15 watt combo and my Peavey Prowler 45 watt combo. How is that Tiny Terror? It's not so tiny, last I checked, but it sounded pretty rockin..
Members onelife
Yamaha DG80-112 versatile - powerful - great sounding - reliable all that is good about tube amps without any of the hassles
Members Woody_in_MN
This is a tough one, but I think I need to mention the KUSTOM HV30. It is absolutely plug in and play. I spend very little time dialing in a tone. Honorable mention to the VOX VT40+, and the Tech21 Trademark 30. Neither of which have 12 " speakers. Members backtoblue
$299? Wow...when and where? zZounds.com or American Musical Supply, I would guess a couple years ago. The price has gone up on both those sites, but they carry the head and 1x12 cab package deal for a ridiculous $349 - which, if I had the $ right now, would totally jump on. That's basically like getting the extension cab for free. EDIT:Here's a link for you: http://www.zzounds.com/item--JETJCA2012HS
Members treedroppings
Koch Studiotone. Same here. I tried one and it kicked but.Brunetti's are supposed to be better than Koch though, according to a review in HC of the studiotone FYI.Laney's vintage styles are nice too. I have a Mesa Mark One Re-Issue and that is ok for me, but try the new Laney Vintages.
Members matt rhoades
I like both my orange rocker 30 and vox ac 15. I do want to add another amp soon either a fender for taking pedals great or a hi gain amp like a peavey 6505 combo. I think if i were ready today to buy a 1x12 combo it would either be a fender supersonic 22 or a peavey 6505 combo.

Members deanmass
I have to admit, the Egnater looks sweet. Especially with the front controls. The top/back controls on the C30 now suck.

Members fretmonster
Won't make the top ten (cause practically nobody has one anymore), but I'd have to go with my 60's vintage Magnatone 413 Custom. (Phil X started out with a tonemaster 213 which is the same circuit as the 413 but the 413 has a tube rectifier.) The amp not only sounds grand clean (real tremelo) but able to achieve the vaunted Phil X overdrive. It's loud enough for bar gigs and weighs next to nothing.
