Moderators ThudMaker Posted October 15, 2007 Moderators Share Posted October 15, 2007 The title of the thread is "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder," not "The Mayor of Frisco is friggin' crackers."From looking at pics of Newsom, I'd say the error of your statement is "The Mayor of Frisco is a friggin' cracker.":p

Members hawkhuff
Yep http://www.thefreedictionary.com/liberalism Insanity!! Many political ideologies sound good on paper. Hell look at the definition of communism. In theory it doesn't sound too bad, that is, until one adds the human elements. Then they all go to {censored}.It's not just the mayor of SF, it is those who elected him in the city. The surrounding area is no better. Wasn't it the Berkley City Council who voted to make recommendation for the impeachment of the president and to outlaw war? Since when does a city council spend time on foreign affairs and federal actions? And what's with this Democrat resolution against Turkey and the genocide of the Armenians during WWI? WTF?Telling people to ignore the law? The mayor of SF performed gay marriages at City Hall after the state courts ruled gay marriage unconstitutional. He unilaterally decided the court was wrong. Some of the stuff they do makes one wonder if there is some kind of mental breakdowns among some of these people. Illegal aliens mean there are some here, for whatever reason, that are breaking the law and Spitzer wants to give them drivers licenses. WTF? Of course, filling out an application for a license in NY automatically registers you for the vote. WTF?
Members lug
And what's with this Democrat resolution against Turkey and the genocide of the Armenians during WWI? WTF? Total Dumbassidness or actual sabotage of the military's ability to operate in Iraq are the only 2 answers to that question.

Y'know, like people breaking the law and cutting down flags and such. :poke: It's too bad some people don't have the basic maturity to respect a difference in political opinion as just that, a difference in political opinion. But instead they have to paint an entire disposition as being mentally disturbed, and have to make blanket statements about all "liberals" based on a few individual's actions in order to justify it. Members hawkhuff
Total Dumbassidness or actual sabotage of the military's ability to operate in Iraq are the only 2 answers to that question. And yet, they still don't have the collective balls (and ovaries ) to pull the plug on spending for the military. That would get them out in no time flat. They can do it anytime but they don't have the courage of their convictions to come through on campaign promises. Constant intel leaks from DC. No one can tell me these aren't polticially motivated. This kind of behavior smacks of mental illness on the part of those in the intel community. Oh no, you're right, the Democrats are evil scum and want soldiers to die. riiiiiiiight It's important to get this resolution out condeming our current ally Turkey about something that happened during world war one while we are in Iraq and utilizing bases there to ferry tons of supplies in despite the fact that Turkey is very sensitive over the issue and has had all kinds of diplomatic fiascos with France already. The current congress has already shown it' stripes as far as the war goes, this is just another example of how it's more important to win the political debate than anything having any hint of success leak out before the next election.A link to the fallout so far:http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/12/world/europe/12turkey.html?hp
