I wasn't really planning on getting another one, but saw a Yamaha Pacifica 412 for about 100 dollars, and went to have a look. It's 20 years old, but in FINE condition. (I wouldn't have chosen GREEN, but it's growing on me). So...got me a strat! Members Brindleleaf Posted October 1, 2020 Author Members Share Posted October 1, 2020 Yep...I would have liked to stumble onto a 311/611, but this was really cheap because one of the pots was 'broken'. Even my limited experience allowed me to pop off the tone knob (judging by the bits of plastic coating they had never been off in the 22 years he'd had it), and tighten up the nut...ta da FIXED! One thing that does puzzle me, I really think I need to train my ears. My tele (Harley Benton), Ibanez AK75 (humbuckers) and this guitar all sound very similar...?! Might have to figure my amp out better...or just listen better...(Sheesh another thing for my Guitar To Do/Learn List. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
