I mean, there are much more minor things that have netted people quite a lot of time off, it seems rather unfair (maybe even a little preposterous) that someone can do something MUCH more disturbing and disgusting than porn-bombing but still go around making post while someone else who makes a disparaging comment about gays gets banned for a week. Now, mind you, I'm all for the "disparaging comment about gays" guy getting punished, that's offensive and completely uncalled for, but I have to say that from my perspective it's small potatoes compared to posting gut-wrenching pictures of defiled corpses on a public forum. You know that I have no personal problems with Zachary Vex, nor any history of argument with him. In fact I've defended him against what I felt are unfair detractors on a few occasions. But this is crossing a line that cannot be crossed if we are to maintain the sort of community that we claim to have. Mike, the re-poster of the same pictures, deserves the same punishment although I do think that his point is well taken, what's good for the goose ought to be good for the gander and in this case what's good for the goose is WAY, WAY beyond what other geese have been punished substantially for.
