  1. After breaking the habit of buying and selling gear a few years ago this is (pretty much) all I have left. I'm looking to replace the VM1 with a flashback x4 (or similar delay/looper pedal), I've just ordered a holy grail neo and I would also like to add a higher gain drive/dist pedal and some kind of shin-ei/superfuzz clone. Possibly ditching and/or replacing the CC drive and tone driver too, but not right away.
  2. Thanks I already have a one spot so I think I'll stick with that and look at a better/properly isolated power supply in the future.
  3. Saw these on eBay and Ali express, very cheap, maybe nasty? Curious if anyone had taken a punt on them and can provide feedback? Alternatively, any affordable power bricks with 2 500ma outputs? 4. What up HCFX!?! It's been a while I have recently ordered a new Fender Bassbreaker 45 combo after getting out of playing guitar for a few years. I had been using a spider iv 75 for (occasional) bedroom blasting so I got rid of most of my pedals (I still have an EQD Hoof 3 knob (it makes some weird noises now though so I need to get it repaired), a danelectro cool cat drive v1, a crybaby and a couple of other really cheap and nasty pedals) so I'm pretty much starting from scratch. I want to start with reverb and delay and then work my way back through the chain from their. I've been watching a bunch of videos, but I'm getting a bit overwhelmed with choices. I like the look of the TC Hall of Fame 2, but I don't know if I'll really use most of the features. I feel like I probably only need a pretty simple reverb pedal and since the amp doesn't have an effects loop it needs to sound good into the front of the amp. In terms of delay, the TC Flashback 2 has my eye, as does the Boss DD7 or DD20. I'm more interested in a delay that does a bunch of stuff and I'm willing to drop more cash on the delay than the reverb because delay is pretty much my favourite effect. If anyone has suggestions for ODs or even some heavier distortions that play nicely with this amp too I'm all ears for those too My main guitar is a 1979 Greco Les Paul with Bill Lawrence Gibson HB pickups and I mostly play bluesy rock stuff, occasionally some harder rock/punk stuff. I don't play in a band or anything, so this stuff is all basically for home use 95% of the time with the occasional jam sesh with mates. I don't think I'm interested in trems/phasers/other mod pedals at this time. Cheers for the advice
  5. Hey maps I have a Fender Bassbreaker 45 combo on order and I'm starting to think about putting a pedal board together after getting rid of most of my gear a few years ago. Considering the amp doesn't have an effects loop I'm interested to know what owners of the amp are using for their reverb. Cheers
  6. Hey dudes, recently got back into playing guitar more regularly and I've got this little champ clone combo that I've had for year, which sounds kind of ok, but the little 6" speaker it came with really lets it down. From measuing the cab I think it would be possible to squeeze an 8" speaker in there, however, I'm not sure if there's much point in doing that instead of just buying an extension cab with either a 10" or 12" speaker. It's basically just for bedroom use, and even with the 6" speaker the amp is way to loud (lucky it has an attenuator) to crank up, so volume is not the issue. Buying an 8" speaker would be the most cost effective option as I can make the necessary mods to the existing cab myself, but my concern is that it won't really improve the sound that much. On the other hand, I'd be looking for a CHEAP cab, so that might not sound that great either. I guess the questions I'm hoping y'all can answer for my are; 1. How different sounding are 8" speakers vs 6"? 2. Am I better off with a better quality 8" over a cheaper, lower quality 10" or 12"? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Quick note, I'm in Australia so gear is stupid expensive here and shipping from the US is mad expensive. Cheers!
  7. Had to re-list and drop prices. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111671533331?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111671530959?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/111671525185?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

  9. Now I have to decide which console to buy new, cross platform games for!
  10. Mostly I just play FIFA and other sports games, I already have a 360 but I wanted the PS3 for the media capabilities. With that said I may end up using the PS3 more for gaming now that I have it, especially since it's free to play online.
  11. Picked up a 250gb model on the cheap from work Add me on PSN if ya feel it this15joel No games yet (got two assignments due on tuesday so can't be distracted!) Been wanting one for ages
