Opened it back up and didn't see any remnants of the LEDs sticking out except on the underside on the PCB. So I took some nail clippers and snipped what was sticking out. Put it back together and played for about half an hour. The problem I was describing seems to have been cured, works fine now.

Did the LED mod tonight. It sounded good for a little while, a lot louder and punchier...but now it will intermittently have this really nasty sounding distortion and noise that comes in...almost sounding like a ring modulator. All I did was open it up and take the chassis out and bend the LED's back and forth till they broke off...not sure what I did wrong?

I had a Parachute wah. It sounded good, but I didn't like the huge clunky enclosure. It looks cool, but isn't very comfortable to use. It also seemed like the sweep was limited to a small area of movement on the pedal and I wished it had more range. My Wah Probe pwned it. The rack looks cool though, didn't know they made one.

i remember trading one of my mig-50's to you back in the day devi. i regretted that kinda. the mig-50 is a great amp. i haven't found an amp that could replace it and believe me i've tried. two oranges - an ad-140 and an or-80, a mesa rectoverb (was pretty nice but the fx loop wouldn't work the way i wanted), and a couple marshall heads...none of them could displace the mig-50. everytime i did an a/b it just sounded better.
