I like it in coffee and in a little tumbler with one ice cube.

Members triplover64
Best mixed drink is a proper Manhattan made with Straight Rye whiskey. If you can't find Rye, use Canadian which usually is mostly Rye anyway. If you use Bourbon or Scotch, it ain't a proper Manhattan and it just ain't right. + + + = Though I prefer it on the rocks with the cherry in it: Don't need the black tie and diamond cufflinks, of course. If you're a gin man (or woman) try a Gin and Tonic or Martini with this:
Members MadMax808
Whiskey sours any good? Never had one. Yeah, depends on what kind of whiskey you're into, though. That'll make or break it. I'm a rum and coke guy. Sailor Jerry is my rum of choice. Cheap. Tasty. Strong.

Members JDE
Whiskey and soda or whiskey and ginger ale are the mixers I drink most of the time. I quite like a vodka and tonic or gin and tonic - Hendrick's ftw - if the weather's warm. I might on occaision have a Manhattan or a Mojito (), but I normally avoid cocktails. Members Bricks & Bones
Gin and {censored}ing Tonic.I normally use Tanqueray and mix it 50/50.My boss has been going on about Hendricks and now I see it on here. I haven't seen it duty free. Need to look harder in the city. Next on the list is Whiskey.I really want to get into it. Neat.Any suggestions? Members Dr. Goldenglove
Oh yeah, forgot gin+tonic.Mixing whiskey/rum with cola/7up is pretty dumb, imo - tastes like {censored} (only exception is apple juice). As for whiskey, Jameson is pretty good neat, Ballantines I didn't enjoy that much, JD was good with apple juice. Dunno about other stuff, never had a chance to try it.
