This sucks soooo bad!!! He is at peace. I feel for you & your family. Animals are such a gift. They become family members. I am so sorry for your loss. We'll get through this it's just the house seems very empty and quiet now I know its too little too late... but sometimes when you have a really well trained dog that is getting up in age, its a good idea to get a puppy at that point if you are wanting another pet. The puppy gets to learn behavior from the older dog, and the older dog gets a bit of companionship. Also helps the human transition. Anyway... again, sucks about your dog bro.
