Phil O'Keefe Posted April 5, 2012 Share Posted April 5, 2012 I think I'm one of the few people who like the Deville. I'm right there with you. I like the Hot Rod Deluxe and Deville. IMO, both are better amps than they're often given credit for online. I've never been sad to watch one being carried into the studio, and I've never had a hard time getting solid, useable sounds out of them. The OD channel is a bit finicky, but the cleans are solid, and even the OD can be coaxed into delivering some cool sounds if you know what you're doing and are willing to spend a few minutes dialing it up.
