DID YOU READ THAT THAT DUDE IS DEAD?!

He is dead, he will not appreciate your support nearly as much as when he was alive if you felt the way you do. Tired of this panzy bull{censored}. Support people for what they are, not what they were. Not to knock the passing of Adam Youch, but can you really pretend like {censored} matters after a dude is starting the decaying process? I never heard he had health issues, unlike Iommi. I heard of Iommi's bought with cancer right off the bat. Not Youch though. If you want to remember someone for what they have done, do it while they are live. Beastie Boys influence on rap and music as a whole now is more than present. Cut the bull{censored} memorial and own up to the fact you didn't give a {censored} to give praise to his name prior till it was trendy to honor his death.

I am dumb for not caring the dude is dead. I am also dumb because I care that people actually give a {censored} to celebrate the dudes life now that he is dead. I like to think celebrating ones life while alive is far more worth while than after they have passed. Jenesis might have wisdom this time around, but I wont hold my breath considering past experiences.

What we need to develop is "The International Star Not Quite Dead But Will Be Soon Early Warning System." The TISNQDBWBSEWS will track all famous people and through highly sophisticated and complex software algorithms in conjunction with body micro-chipping, health records, prescriptions, wiretaps and informants the TISNQDBWBSEWS will give us an accurate information as to who is going to die soon. This way we can give them our accolades before they kick the bucket.

you're right, when someone dies its better to just ignore it and let them fade from memory until they're completely forgotten, it's not like they're going to do anything worthwhile any more. let's start with you. go die, and we can all not give a {censored}.

kind of agree, but still you can't really say it like that. Are we supposed walk around with big signs with peoples' names on them and cry for them because they're still alive?

you can only appreciate something so much. there's also the fact that you realize it's gone and there won't be any more of it. basically it's a {censored}ing occasion in a weird way.

But the point he was making - I think it was one of crohny's points - that you should tell people what you think while you still have the opportunity, is a good one IMO.

It's just as tiring to listen to the thick skinned guy on the forum with the big scary avatar say controversial things just to keep an edge. They were pretty revolutionary so clearly people are gonna be a little upset and mention the passing when he was only 47 years old.

Sure but there are so many, how to tell who is leaving early? If you are on your way out does it really matter that some industry flakes and a bunch of people you don't know like you? Probably more a time for reflection, family and putting affairs in order. (Clean out your porn closet)

I think Crohny's point is it shouldn't matter if they're "leaving early" or not.

A lot of people liked them (him) so much to do a million RIP threads but no one talked about them before. Crohny's calling out the bull{censored}ters.

i agree crohny, that it is sometimes annoying the praise celebrities gets after they die. i believe it has to do with perspective though; death gives us an opportunity to reflect on that persons life and accomplishments.

the people that really benefit from all the accolades after someone dies though are the family and friends of the deceased, and they are the ones that truly appreciate the sentiments.

i also agree that you seem like an adolescent.
