If someone can't cover a few bucks in fees then move on. seriously, it's like 3%. i would never ask someone to 'gift' me a payment through PayPal. it adds up, but the convenience of PayPal makes it worth it. then again, if you're selling something that's $1000+ then it turns out to be a good chunk of change. in that case it'd be nice if they 'gifted' you part of the percentage along with the regular payment. so, if anyone wants you to 'gift' them payment, just do that. pay the full asking price as usual, then 'gift' them a few bucks towards fees. at least your ass is covered then, which by itself is worth a few bucks.
