Members meandi
I've had this in lay away at the local mom&pop guitar store, where I work part time, for almost 3 months now. Brought it home a couple of days ago. Love the tone of the thing! It's got a small visual blem on the top, which matters not to me. It's got a great action....070", which is .008" under 4/64" on the low E. .050", which is .0034" below 3/64 on the trebel side. Intonation on the guitar is spot on. It's a great addition to my home built archtop & the Alvarez RF-10.
Members gitnoob
Congrats! I like those 000-15s better than the high-end spruce/rosewood Martins.

Members NealP
I love Mahogany guitars. I love your guitar, may it last as long as my Martin has. '37 00-17 Pretty much the same guitar, but yours is bigger, and better looking. Man, that sounded...odd, but you get the drift.

Members meandi
Congrats! I like those 000-15s better than the high-end spruce/rosewood Martins. Thanks, I like it a lot. To me this isn't a cheap guitar, though. MF list them as MSRP $1249 & out the door for $$949. They've got a couple of used ones listed for $835. For a guy who has never spent more than $400 on a guitar in his life, I felt like I was getting pretty "spendy" when I bought this....just couldn't resist though. Members bsman
One of the best acoustics I've ever picked up was an 000-15s -- the solid-head version is very nice, too. I predict you two will be very happy!

BTW, I hope you like your RF10. I have an RD10 and it's an absolute POS. BTW, lapatonga, you have been reported. Have a nice day.

Members meandi
stop hanging it by the machine heads, dork. :poke: I wondered if anyone would notice that. Just for a few seconds for the photo...it lives in the case. Usually my 6string bass hangs there.
